Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this prestigious opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:1. Age: The age range for candidates is 17.5 to 25 years with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.

Education: Candidates should be 10+2 qualified in any stream or hold an equivalent qualification.Direct Entry Petty Officer (Sports Entry):– Should be a medalist at the Junior/Senior level by representing the State in National competitions or have represented the country at the International level (Individual event).– Should have represented a State or country in National or International competitions at Junior/Senior level (team event).
– Should be a medalist in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or above.
– The certificate from respective sports authorities (Federations) must accompany the recommendations of the candidates for final selections.
Direct Entry Chief Petty Officer (Sports Entry):– Winners of medals in World championships/Asian championships.– Winners of medals in Asian Games.– Winners of medals in CWG/World Cup.– Those who have represented India twice in Asian Games/Commonwealth Games/World Cup.– Those representing India in Olympics.Selection Process:Deserving candidates will be invited to appear for trials at designated Naval Centers. Successful candidates in trials will undergo a medical examination at INS Hamla, Mumbai. The offer of enrollment will be extended to selected candidates based on specific sports disciplines’ requirements and the availability of vacancies.
